Beam me up, Scotty! Director J.J. Abrams has taken Trekkies on a nostalgic and adventurous romp with his Star Trek reboot, and his second installment Star Trek Into Darkness is out on Blu-ray and DVD today. Simon Pegg (The World's End, Shaun of the Dead) portrays Scotty, a passionate engineer on board the U.S.S. Enterprise in both features.

Today was pretty rough. I originally wanted to get some shots of Meryl Streep at her premiere but she fell sick and didn't attend. The two other people I hoped to see was Mila Kunis and Taylor Swift. The problem was Mila Kunis had two red carpets to be at in little to no time in between. Therefore I thought it would be smart to wait at the back of the theatre because both Mila and Taylor would be in the same place at the same time.
The HFPA and InStyle held their annual, always elegant Toronto Film Festival soiree on Sept. 9 in the Windsor Arms, where the steady arrival of leading ladies and gentlemen ensured that the boutique hotel’s orchid-festooned courtyard and more intimate Living Room bar were humming with conversation—easily conducted thanks to voice-preserving music levels (a rarity at most Toronto shindigs).

TORONTO - After only a few years in the Hollywood spotlight, Jessica Chastain has two Oscar nominations and a film resume that could put a veteran actor to shame. Her latest trick? Anchoring The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and Her, a highly ambitious love story that's really two movies in one.
Written and directed by Ned Benson, the films document two sides of a tragedy involving Chastain (who plays the title character) and her husband Conor (James McAvoy) that has brought the couple to the brink of demise.
